Unknown error occurred while registering for apple developers account

I am trying to sign up for apple developer's account. However, when I press continue after the first step of entering the account info, I get this:

Apple Developer ProgramUser uploaded file

We are unable to process your request

An unknown error occurred. Please try again.

Does anyone know why??

I followed binhnk's guide but it didnt work. However, on the same line, i fixed the input type from "hidden" to "text" and I immediately was provided with a text box to enter my country (Singapore) into it. I leave the greyed-out State row as it is and proceeded to confirm my enrolment and I succeeded.

I know how to fix the problem now (for applying as individual).

The problem issue is about country and state information of billing address not complete.

Please follow the steps below.


1. Use Chrome.

2. Go to the enrollment step named "Review your enrollment information & submit"

3. Right click and select "Inspect Element".

4. Search for coding line concerning to "Country" and "State" area. (You might click many times to find this coding line)

5. You will find they are blank. So edit the data in coding line as the correct ones matching the information in Apple ID.

6. Then, click "Continue".

7. Goodluck. 😉

Thanks for the help. Note that you have to press COMMAND OPTION I on a Mac to inspect the elements. I don't know if this will work, however, as I may have entered my state incorrectly. It didn't seem to take, although after entering the Country, I was able to progress to the next screen. I got an email saying that it would take two days to process and I also submitted a help request using the Support form. Has anyone been successful using this method? Have you been able to use your new dev account?

Same here- tried a week or so ago- still cant get past the payment page. Registering as an individual. Why has this issue still not been fixed- this thread started months ago??
