Unknown error occurred while registering for apple developers account

I followed binhnk's guide but it didnt work. However, on the same line, i fixed the input type from "hidden" to "text" and I immediately was provided with a text box to enter my country (Singapore) into it. I leave the greyed-out State row as it is and proceeded to confirm my enrolment and I succeeded.

You may receive an error via email in a few hours time, as I did. In my case, they took my money but didn't give me access due to the error.

Again, if you have this problem, you can make it worse by editing the form as above. Just call Apple, for free, 5 days a week.

I know how to fix the problem now (for applying as individual).

The problem issue is about country and state information of billing address not complete.

Please follow the steps below.

1. Use Chrome.

2. Go to the enrollment step named "Review your enrollment information & submit"

3. Right click and select "Inspect Element".

4. Search for coding line concerning to "Country" and "State" area. (You might click many times to find this coding line)

5. You will find they are blank. So edit the data in coding line as the correct ones matching the information in Apple ID.

6. Then, click "Continue".

Thank you!! This solved my problem too. Country was a hidden field so I entered "United States" in the value and State was a disabled select element so I changed it to a hidden input and put my state ("North Carolina") into the value. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for the help. Note that you have to press COMMAND OPTION I on a Mac to inspect the elements. I don't know if this will work, however, as I may have entered my state incorrectly. It didn't seem to take, although after entering the Country, I was able to progress to the next screen. I got an email saying that it would take two days to process and I also submitted a help request using the Support form. Has anyone been successful using this method? Have you been able to use your new dev account?

Apple Developer Program Support got back to me. They reset my account and told me to re-enroll here:

The form was fixed from this link and I was able to enroll. Waiting for my application to be processed.

Same here- tried a week or so ago- still cant get past the payment page. Registering as an individual. Why has this issue still not been fixed- this thread started months ago??

Same problem. Registering from South Africa as an individual. Been trying for 2 days. My error says that "developer2.apple.com dropped the connection".

On one of the pages, there is a label for "Country" but no way to enter it.

In FireBug, find the label.

There is an "hidden" input field.

Unhide it, and change the "value" to "usa"

I was able to continue after that.

The point really is to use Chrome. Tried it before in Safari to no avail. Kind of strange that we have to use Chrome to be able to sign up with Apple ;-)

Same problem here. Trying to Register from NEPAL. Its been a week or so. Is this what Apple was supposed to be?

I was unable to sign my company up using Safari. Chrome worked without any error though... seems pretty strange that on a Mac Safari isn't able to be used to sign up as a developer.
