facebook push notification

Btw....To find the answer i resetted my iPad Mini to factory stat and facebook works perfectly. Just my iPhone 5. Idk why. -_______- I'm Headache Now. Restored my iPhone for like almost 10 times.

I'm having the same problem except i have an iphone 4s. the first one i purchased on thursday had the facebook already on the notification center and i received all my notifications but since my phone stopped working i got a new one on sunday and now facebook isn't in the notification center anymore and i have tried everything. install, re-install, reset and still nothing. so if anyone finds out how to make it work please let me know.. 😟

Most people said facebook apps itself causing this problem. But i wonder why my iPad Mini iOS 7.0.4 Facebook ver 6.9.1 (LATEST) Works Perfectly but IPHONE'S don't. -.- That's *****. Seems like everyone who use iphone restored or reformated their phone during facebook ver6.9.1 have this problem.

I think we must fine the way to re-active the "Push Notification Confirm Popup"

Try reset to factory stat or restore the phone and download facebook then use DarknessKaori method tap the search button and see whether it works a not.

tried this, still doesn't work! this is 😠ing me off! i took my girlfriends Lg G2 logged onto my facebook and notifcations work properly! i think all of us need to contact facebook over and over and over....... until it is fixed! maybe they will get annoyed with getting numerous complaints from us. this is as close to the problem as i could get "blank notifcations" obviously they don't know about our problem or better yet don't care!

I am having the same issue with the app not appearing in my notification center as it is my fiacee phone not mine I will try this when i get home to see if I can get the push notifications to pop up again but you can set it in facebook so not really sure if its going to work but ill let you know....thats for all the feedback.

ok, so i got my notification fix, after you get your facebook on the notification center go to your facebook account on your computer and go to settings-security-recognize devices and clear everything out then active sessions and clear all of them out too. why? because your facebook sends notifications to all the divices you have used and logged in. once you do that log in from your computer and then your phone and it should send you a message "facebook would like to send you push notifications" and obviously "YES".. hope that helps.. =)

YES. It is working. Altough I had to do something more.

In addition to what alliR89 said, you must also go into "Active Sessions" (under recognized devices in Facebook settings -> security) and select "End all activity". When reopening your Facebook app from your iPhone you should have a popup saying "Session has expired, please log in again". After logging back in, my push notifications worked.

AlliR89 you are a life saver! I did those steps but I did them from my phone and not my computer initially so it didn't work. It worked when I did it from my computer though :-)
