I recently updated pages and cannot figure out how to center a table? Any suggestions? Using the circle in the upper left hand corner does not seem to work as suggested. Also wondering how to highlight. I see highlight under insert but that is only to highlight while working on the text and does not print out.

Well that was easy. I was changing to stay on page and doing something similar and when I went back to in line the table went back too. This seems to work. Thank You

Guess what it doesn't work because now it doesn't move with the text

If the table is inline, all you have to do is click in the paragraph/line it is in and make that centred, it acts just like text.
Of course there has to be enough room each side for it to move.

That just makes a larger table. I have a small table that I need to center. There has to be a center function. They wouldn't expect us to eye ball it all the time. Wouldn they?

How does it make it a larger table? You are doing something else.

Now that is possible. I will check and do a mock one and I guess just play with it. I know it must be relatively simple. Just can't find the right switch

I was able to do it on my mock paper and chart but was not able to do it with a table in a report. The report is generated from a template. The tables are from older programs.
On the old one it is only the text that gets centered. Half the table is already filled in
