iPad (4th gen) screen scrambled (static) with smart cover.

Hello-

The screen on my iPad becomes scrambled when connecting/disconnecting smart cover. (image attached) I am afraid that something has been damaged by the magnets. Is there a solution to fix this? I could not find much help doing various searches.

That is what I have been doing but it has gotten progressively worse and worse.

I got the same problem too!! I'm going to see if apple will replace the iPad.

It is still visible on "find my iphone".

This is a good video demonstrating the problem except that most of us didn't get it working with 3 flicks. This person also got his iPad replaced.
