iTunes 11.1.4 freezes after connecting iDevices

I'm using iTunes 11.1.4 on Windows 7 64-bit. When I connect iPhone 4 7.0.4 and iPad 4 7.0.4, iTunes freezes and I have to end the procces through task manager. Or if I disconnect the iDevices, iTunes just show a message that hte device was detected but it cannot be synced. Even when I click on Preferences in Edit menu when there is no iDevice connected to the computer, it freezes. I re-installed the iTunes and I tried to Repair it but there was no difference.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing iTunes a couple of times and reset my phone too but none of those worked. So thanks for this! Helped me out a lot. 🙂

I am having the same issue and have tried what Atulh has suggested several times with no luck whatsoever! Can anyone help me? I really don't understand why this is happening and every time I have downloaded iTunes as an administrator I'm still missing the file 'C:\....\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\SyncServices' I am so frustrated.

IN response to atulh, installing and doing first iTunes launch as administrator seems to have removed the freeze problem - well done mate ! Now I have to remove an apparently corrupt backup file and start again but at least I can work with iTunes to do it ! Thanks a lot - I have chased down MANY other suggestions across the Internet without similar results.
