Why am I getting a "Connection Unsuccessful - ''NILESH'' is not supported." message on my iPhone when I try to connect it to my brand-new Dell XPS 14 L421X that has Bluetooth 4.0 when I've been able to successfully connect it before?

Why am I getting a "Connection Unsuccessful - ''NILESH'' is not supported." message on my iPhone when I try to connect it to my brand-new Dell XPS 14 L421X that has Bluetooth 4.0 when I've been able to successfully connect it before? It worked at first when I opened up my laptop & then tried connecting &/ but the it stopped working after that one time. I've even chatted & spoken to a Dell technician about this on/ over the phone, & he recommened that I just refresh my PC. Only to find out that even though I don't lose my files, I still lost all of my downloaded apps, programs (like Google Chrome), certain settings, Windows 8.1 (it shipped with Windows 8 & I just updated it to Windows 8.1), & etc. And then after refreshing it, I tried reconnecting my iPhone to it & then it worked perfectly fine again, but I seem to have encountered the exact same problem now again. And I don't want to refresh my PC becuz I don't want to lose all of my settings, Windows 8.1, & everything else. And for some weird & bizarre odd reason, my brand-new Seagate Backup Plus 1TB portable external hard drive isn't even working properly so I can backup my laptop to refresh or restore it. But why am I getting that message on my iPhone when I've never gotten it before when I've been able to successfully connect it before?

Let me try to be clear. IOS DOES NOT SUPPORT BLUETOOTH CONNECTIONS TO A COMPUTER. Except for tethering. You cannot stream music from your iPhone to your computer over BlueTooth.

What is the name of the music app? I doubt the app includes music stored locally on the iPhone as with the iPhone's iPod or Music app and if not, the music is being streamed over the internet with the app.

FreeMusic Download/ FreeMusic Downloader, but it's a really old app that I don't think is even in the App Store anymore or the developer/ publisher has changed &/ or there's a different version of it available for free in the App Store.

You're right, it isn't possible on Windows. Not without seriously hacking the OS in a major way and even then, maybe. OP is mistaken in his belief he did what he did using Bluetooth. Bluetooth transfer from any iDevice to any Computer (pc or mac) is not supported.

Who's OP? And I'm not even transferring any files over Bluetooth (!!/ !!!!). I haven't even done that yet/ I haven't even gotten to do that yet (!!/ !!!!).

N.v.m./ nvm!!!! About a month ago or so, my issue actually got resolved as there was an update availabe for download that I had to download to update the Bluetooth on my laptop & with the update, my Bluetooth actually works once again & I don't even get that message on my iPhone's screen anymore (see my original post)!!/ !!!! And now for about the past month or so, I've been able to stream music from my iPhone to my laptop over Bluetooth & I'm even able to see information like how many bars of coverage I have, my network's name (AT&T), & a battery bar/ status icon displayed on my laptop, along with being able see & save all of my contacts from iPhone's contacts/ Contacts phonebook to my laptop!!/ !!!! And once again like before, I'm also to remotely pause, play, increase or decrease the volume, & I think that I'm even able to rewind &/ or fast-forward the song that I'm currently playing (although I'm not exactly sure about this)!!/ !!!! So my problem's been resolved!! See?? All of you who/ that posted that it would never work because it's not supported (officially), I proved you all wrong!! I knew that it was able to do that, at least on Windows 8/ (&) 8.1!!/ !!!!
