Just recently I realized that my Iphone 5 will not update or download new apps. I have tried reseting my password, reseting my phone, plugging it in my computer, and restored it from the computer. All it does is ask for my password and that's it just never downloads. I don't know what to do. It does this for the updates as well just asks for the password and then nothing happens.

My iPhone 5s will not update adds or download an new ones. I'm downloading free apps and It keeps asking me to sing in with my password. When I do it asks me to update my payment method. But all my stuff is up to date. And it says "payment failed" ???
NONE of this works. My issue is with apps that I have downloaded before then deleted and now want to download again. If I want to download an app I do not have yet, there is no issue when I click on the GET button. If I click on the download icon (the one that is there on an app you have downloaded before, it keeps reverting back to that icon after a few seconds. I have done every procedure and it is still bad.

Try to click the renew lease in your wifi. It did the trick on my iphone.
