1791.com e-mail set up problem

Last fall I signed up for the 1791.com e-mail address. I have made several attempts to set up my 1791.com on my MacBook Pro. I have gone through all of the steps in their guides. I have entered the password xxxxxxx which is provided in my account and it says it's not valid. So I entered the password xxxxxxx, which is the password I use to log into my 1791.com e-mail address online. Again it says the password doesn't work. How can it not work in my "Mail" program when it works fine online. I live 45 minutes from the closest Apple store. Out of frustration I have driven there on 2 separate occasions asking them for help in the hopes that they can figure out what the problem is. Still no luck. I am at a loss. I have followed all the instructions to the letter of the law and still nothing. This the error

window that keeps popping up. No matter what password I enter, it doesn't work. Any ideas? I have contacted the 1791.com e-mail support people but they just keep pointing me to the online tutorial that I have gone over with a fine tooth comb and it just doesn't work.

Thank you again for all your help. I went into the Keychain and deleted the appropriate items and it still is giving me the log in error. So it's definitely something on their end. Just to confirm, I am able to log into the account via my browser. I am waiting to hear back from them. Since I sent the last e-mail on Friday night, I'm guessing they had the weekend off and I will hopefully hear something tomorrow.
