I'd like your feedback please.

I really like how the new 'Artist' tab in the "Music" library is organized by artist then album and finally track number. The only changes I'd make here are to:

  1. Get rid of the "All artists" item at the top of the list.
  2. Show ONLY songs in this tab.
  3. Rename the "Artist" tab to "Songs", and get rid of the "Songs" list tab.

The 'Videos' tab should be view in the same way as the 'Artist' tab, except the music videos should be simply listed by it's year of release by the artist....no "Unknown" album listings.

Even tho I've set my view in the "Movies" to sort by title then year, it's not doing it. For example my Jeff Dunham movies are listed out order. It should be:

  1. Arguing With Myself
  2. Spark Of Insanity
  3. Very Special Christmas
  4. Controlled Chaos

..but they're currently listed in the following order:

That's actually a good idea. Thanks.🙂

I tried every available view option for my Movies library...none did what I want.

As for the tab bars, I'm not suggesting they be removed, but an option to hide them would be nice.

A couple comments...

Even tho I've set my view in the "Movies" to sort by title then year, it's not doing it. For example my Jeff Dunham movies are listed out order. It should be:

Arguing With Myself

Spark Of Insanity

Very Special Christmas

Controlled Chaos

..but they're currently listed in the following order:

Arguing With Myself; 2006

Controlled Chaos; 2011

Spark Of Insanity 2007

Very Special Christmas; 2008

They are listed in the correct order (the 2nd batch) by title then year.

If titles are the same, it will then sort these same titles by year.

If all titles are different then the date is irrelevant.

Anyway, the point is there should be an option to sort by Title, then Year.

Only relevant if movies have the exact same title.

and how many movies with the exact same title are there? (all together let alone in your library)

Since the movies are in the cloud as opposed to downloaded to your computer you are relying on the store's version of the metadata. Presumably they have used the naming scheme Jeff Dunham: <Title> which keeps the Jeff Dunham videos together and in alphabetical order by title, not year. In the store the Christmas special is titled Jeff Dunham: Jeff Dunham's Very Special Christmas Special which probably explains its current position in your image. Would need to see all the titles to be sure. Interestingly those show up as TV Shows in the UK store, not Movies.

If you changed the order to By Year then By Title and typed Jeff Dunham into the search box (with Seach Entire Library turned off) to filter out everything else, then you might see the order that you want, but that's not going to be generally very useful. Download the items, make them TV Shows and adjust the tags for the best results.
