Does your Apple ID ever expire?

I received an email saying my Apple ID was due to expire in 48h. Not sure if this is legitimate. Anyone else receive this?

If you haven't already done so you could forward it to Apple (these are user-to-user forums) : http://www.apple.com/legal/more-resources/phishing/

To report spam or other suspicious messages that you have received through iMessage, please send them to imessage.spam@apple.com with the requested information.

It's a scam, iTunes accounts don't expire. If you entered your account's password change it immediately via http://appleid.apple.com (What to do after you change your Apple ID email address or password - Apple Support). If you entered your account id on their site you've potentially let them know that the email address is active and linked to an iTunes account, so you might get further phishing attempts (and possibly not just iTunes)

If you still have the text you could send it to Apple : http://www.apple.com/legal/more-resources/phishing/
