I've got the same problem. My wife has an iPad1, and so is stuck on iOS5. All the messages she sends to me from her iPad1 do not reach my iMac (OS X 10.9.2) any more. I get them on my iPad3 and iPhone4, but not on the iMac.

Because the message isn't reaching my iMac, they are red-flagged "Not delivered" on my wife's iPad1.

I'm using the same Apple ID, password, email addresses, phone number etc. on all three of my devices. I get all the messages from my daughter (iPad2) and my son (iPhone5 and MacBook) on all my devices.

My wife's iPad1 has the same problem sending messages to my son's MacBook. He gets them on his iPhone5, but they never reach his MacBook.

Seems to be a problem with messaging from iOS5 to OS X 10.9.2. (Messages works fine in the other direction.)

Curiously, I get the three dots in an empy bubble (on iMac) when she types, but the message never arrives. At least, it never arrives first time. If she presses 'Try again', the message will eventually get to my iMac. Sometimes it works second time, sometimes it can take up to 6 or more 'Try again's before the message gets through.

Anyone got any ideas? I've tried signing out and in (iPhone first). Still doesn't work.
