Running the Snow Leopard disk did not work for me, I do not advise spending money on this. My computer turned on to the grey progress bar screen as usual, I heard the disk boot up and start spinning, then after a while stop running, and then the computer shut down as usual. Same result with repeated attempts.
I ran an update and now my imac won't start up!!! I'm furious 😠
