Now that iOS 7.1 is out I successfully upgraded my iPhone 5.
It changes the full screen pictures to a small picture in a circle. It used to be more
aesthetically pleasing, showed more information at a glance, it's totally beyond me while they would change something that looked so good.
Is there any way to restore the full screen caller images?

Balkanization of the Home screen into sections that don't mesh and fight constantly.

If it is not a typo, it is probably spot on verb.

Well, (it's not all doom & gloom) I am kinda antagonized by this full screen picture in ios 7.1. , so , go first world problems , we embrace thee !! 😉
I'm also disappointed due to this drawback 😟

Apple is not reading here. Submit your feedback directly to Apple using the appropriate link on the Feedback page:
The upgrades are supposed to improve the phone's feautures, but the fact that you can't even see the contact's picture is a big failure for the new iOS version. I hope you can fix this in order to make the iPhone a better device.

I cannot do anything to fix the phone, and if you had read any of the balance of the post, especially the post just above yours, you would see you are not addressing Apple here, we are users like you. That post also provides the feedback link.

Who is supposed to fix this? Apple? Well, then talk to Apple. Apple isn't here. This is a user-to-user technical assistance forum, and if you'd read the terms of use of this forum, you'd know that.
Go to www.apple.com/feedback if you want to tell Apple. However, this feature is possibly going to be reintroduced in iOS 8, since some of the official Apple images of iOS 8 have shown a full screen Caller picture.
Hi Everyone, So yesterday I installed IOS 8.. and issue resolved partially 😟 Only contacts that have 1 phone number displaying with Full screen caller ID, in case contact has 2+ phone numbers, old ugly small circle in the corner 😟
Any ideas if it is fixable?
