Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Ever since upgrading to ios 7.1 yesterday my touchscreen is jumpy. Swiping is inconsistent and sometimes the screen jumps around when I touch it. In case this isn't a coincidence, is there something I can try to modify to make it better?

I am having this problem to. Mine is so jumpy it has made the phone unusable.

iphone 5S, ios8.4... It happened since i upgraded to ios 8....
I have the latest iOS for the iPhone 5 and I still have this problem as well!!! 😟 Seems I have to keep locking and unlocking the screen to flush the buffer that seems to be queuing up all my swipes and presses. I think the new iOS is pushing a need for a better processor, or is too resource hungry, causing lags, and attributing to this issue. If I was to hazard a guess, it's probably the higher priority of the touchscreen quickly queuing up my interactions during a random system lag, and then "replaying" it later.
I have this problem too! With an iPhone 6s, 2 months old. I took it to get the screen replaced... still acting up. Such a nightmare.
I've been experiencing the intermittent screen unresponsiveness, but just today did I experience the crazy jumpy screen.
Lo and behold, it was my 3rd party charger. As soon as I unplugged it the jumping stopped. But no amount of restarting has resolved the screen and app freezes. I've only ever had this issue with the iPhone 6S.
Same issue and Apple is not taking responsibility! Not happy!
I've also had this problem on my new iPhone 5S 64GB - flickering screen when resizing photos for example (very frustrating!). I found it when charging with my official iPhone wire and charger but it was plugged into an old plug gangplank (with 4 plug sockets) and not directly into the wall socket. It is probably the sensitivity of the electricity connection. I took it off charge and restarted it and it seems to be currently fine. Hope it stays that way and hope this helps someone!
I've been having this same issue again Since the most recent update 10.1. Is there anyway to fix this issue?

That was the main Problemm!!! YEAH the Cover was the main problem !! That WORKED !!
