Iphone 5S camera will not connect to XP

bcoop17 has a great idea. I have a solid XP desktop at home, and after the my iPhone 4S updated to 7.1, got stuck in the "Trust Loop" I have been using the app "wifi transfer app" which allows me to transfer photos quickly between desktop and iPhone 4S in addition to the XP Scanner and Camera Wizard. For just a few photos, the app works fine. For a large batch, it was necessary to download and install the PC app and run it on the PC as well as run the app on the iPhone. Typically, I just used Firefox browser on PC to interface with app on iPhone. The only requirement is both devices must be connected to same network. I was able to transfer 531 pics and 30 videos to my PC just as quickly as with the XP Scanner & Camera Wizard. Since XP support is ending, I plan on using this app from now on. It seems to work really well.

Having the same problem with my works XP PC. The solution we've come up with is use a Windows Phone - Simples.

The problem is very possibly that as Windows no longer support XP since end of March

Is it possible that Apple will no longer support it either and as such you will need to upgrade your Windows?

I had a similiar problem (on Win XP 32bit) with a user of company that I supported on heldesk (not support for Apple though). In My case first installing itunes 9 and then installing th enewest 11.5.5 fixeed the issue. It may actually not be that relevant that iTunes 9 was installed first. But just to give the whole package. The user did not have iTunes before and it was working just fine without it until the loop problme appeared.
