I never use Softonic. 71, I don't understand what do you mean about the apps that are in greek ( my english are not that good). These are apps that were installed in the macbook when i bought it. (calculator, chess, etc)

Lex, I downloaded Kies from samsung site, so I thought it was ok. I will search it

I understand what you are saying about Vuze.

Many thanks to both of you. You were very helpfull,

but as I was trying to download ''The-Unarchiver'' , the problem remains. I can't download it 😟

Download the unarchiver here:

There is no indication that the impossibility to download is in your installed software. Must be in your Apple account. What sometimes helps is following: start appstore, clcik the featured tab (most left), click "account" (on the right under 'quick links'). Then Sign Out , even if you are not signed in. Then quit the Appstore and restart your Mac.

Then start the Appstore again, and in the same place Sign In, then go to the app you want to download.

Does it still not work: call Apple Support and have them explain on the phone.

Sorry, I didn't mean you would knowingly use Softonic but as it happens, the My Permissions cleaner has links to Softonic so it depends where you got it from. And Clean my Drive could have come from MacPaw, another dodgy supplier.

If you want to download anything other than from Apple, only buy direct from the developer. You can check this out via Google, and where Softonic or MacPaw is involved they can usually be seen in the announcement.

By Apps in Greek, Apple apps are fine, but apps of a Greek origin may not be. Most are fine, I'm sure, but you can often learn from other comments. Before you download anything, feed the name, as it is written, into Google. That will invariably come up with both supplier details and comments from other users.

I see your Pages-out have gone to zero. Excellent.
