Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
When watching youtube videos in Safari, I click on the expand box, all of the other video thumbnails disappear but the viewing frame never expands. (Everything was fine until I loaded ios 7.1.)
Anyone else experiencing this?

Well last night I used you tube as normal and the screen expands once more!
So?
I did write to them saying it would not, maybe they looked?
So not only did the Youtube team look, they listened; they responded; they fixed. Quickly.
Frankly, I'm very impressed with the way this played out. I was expecting to view tiny little Youtubes for some time, if not forever more. Instead, this bug was squashed in a day. Wow. (I found and reported a bug in One Note years ago and still get responses/ reminders from the MSoft support forums about the unresolved issue. I think Redmond is a big, scary anechoic chamber, but that's another topic.)
It's great to see the big guys are, at least occasionally, still listening to mere mortals!
Perhaps it's time for a new MacBook Air.......
Odd you know, there is an undertone of dissatisfaction through this whole forum at this time. I am not apart from that, yet it is depressing. It was good that they were able to fix it so fast and that they responded to The people who use it. Well done YouTube!
I have the same issue with my iPad mini and it all happened after 7.1 update with multiple apps.
Upgraded to 7.1 and youtube will no longer expand to full screen on IPad
