iPad 2 camera is really really bad. Is Apple considering upgrading this feature or providing alternatives for those who utilize their cameras on their iPad ?

Please fix the camera for the iPad 2. This tablet is too expensive for the camera to be such a lost. I took it to the apple store and even the employee there agreed that the camera is horrible. This of course did not make me feel Better after all I already paid my money. This is my second IPAD 2 in less than a year. The first IPAD video card was not working. My original IPAD 2 pictures were crappy and so is the new IPAD 2. Totally unacceptable. When I am due for a new tablet I will definitely take this into consideration during the decision process.

No one here has done that.

We are all explaining to you that the iPad's bulit in cameras and other hardware cannot be changed.

The low quality of the cameras is what is is. Nothing can change this fact.

I am by no means tech savvy however, I am intelligent enough to know that the IPAD 2 is a tablet and not a camera. It was was one of the features I hoped I could have enjoyed however, I just wanted to see if there were any solutions to this issue. If you are within your 14 day return period, you might want to rethink returning it. Apple just announced they will be selling the 4th generation iPad for the same price they were selling iPad 2. And iPad 2 is being completely retired. The camera in iPad 4 is at least 5 megapixel, compared to the less than 1 megapixel camera in your device.

Its a hardweare limitation. The onyl possible solution would be to change the entiore camera for a new one. Or take photos in better lighting.

Nowhere does it say its a high quality photo camera. It even states its VGA-Quality still camera. That's quite low.

Really the onyl thing that can be done is imporvoe lighting when you take pictures. Other than that, the camera is not a good one. There's nothing that can be done about it. If you just bought the iPad as has been said, try to return it, and get an iPad 4, much better camera overall.

Not sure what kind of solution you were expecting for a piece hardware?
