I can't download the latest iPhone software b/c my Camera Roll is taking up 3.1GB of space, but it shouldn't be as I have only about 10 photos on my camera roll. Photo stream is off, as well as photo sharing. Any help would be appreciated!

You might consider reading the other posts in the thread you just posted to, where several solutions have been posted multiple times.
I did exactly as you instructed. Changed the date, step by step. My recently deleted folder had 0 pics even then.
Nothing worked no ifun box, deleting deleted photos folder, no post dating, pre dating nothing except your solution. I ve deleted those ithmb...and freed the memory. Hope I did not hacked it.
