Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I am once again experiencing problems with my Aperture Library which is stored in an external hard disk.
Keep getting an error "1712" and message saying that application can not be opened.
Have tried to repair by holding down the command and option key while double clicking in the library but still no success! :-(

Unable to locate the MG_3968.psd file but have just started to copy each item individually and working so far!
Most items have been dragged across my new hard drive. Am I still able to create a new Aperture library within this new external hard drive so that I can organise these images in there again or do I need another hard drive?

Are all files in a folder that has the same structure as your original Aperture library? What is missing and cannot be copied?
If the missing items are not essential database files, only image files, then you should be able to rename this copied folder "Aperture Libarary manually copied.aplibrary" and try to open it in Aperture. Double click the renames, copied folder and try if Aperture can open it.
