Wacom Graphire not working with Mavericks

So I recently picked up an older Wacom Wireless Graphire Pen Tablet (CTE-630BT) and I have not been able to set it up on Mavericks 10.9.2. I have been able to get the express keys to work, but the pen has not been detected.

I have tried installing many of the given legacy drivers on Wacom's U.S. and European sites including:

5.3.3.-3

5.3.3.-2

5.3.0.-3

6.2.0.-w4

6.3.7.-3

and after many attermpts on each of these, and a couple others possibly, (using the Wacom Utility to remove them, reseting my tablet a few times. I am

If there is anyone out there with any insight, I would be quite grateful. Thanks!

edit: Also, the tablet didn't come with a USB Bluetooth receiver, I was just using the internal one on my rMBP.

Thanks Devernay! Again, my Graphite 4 works even on Yosemite! I only had to run Preferences in low resolution too. Here are my steps:

  1. Download legacy driver 5.3.0-3 for OS X 10.8, 10.7 & 10.6: http://cdn.wacom.com/U/Drivers/Mac/Consumer/530/PenTablet_5.3.0-3.dmg
  2. Bamboo preferences panel doesn't open though.
  3. Find preferences app inside main Applications folder.
  4. Cmd+I on the file and check both Open in 32bit and Open in low resolution (for retina).
  5. Run system preferences
  6. Now the Bamboo panel is working.
  7. Once set, set Preferences app back to 64 bit and high resolution.

Enjoy 🙂

I considered your post is very helpful, but, I would like to know if you can configure the pen and table buttons? I can open and configure something in the preferences, but in special theses buttons, I can't. The problem is that, immediately begins writing the pen, and I haven't control when start and stop. Please anybody can help me? this is a good graphic table. Thank you

Came here to say thanks for the tips - the links to the legacy drivers page on Wacom's site are dead, and their Support page won't even pull up a list of drivers for Graphire products.

For record - I have an OLD Graphire ET-0405-U and required Wacom's driver pro620-w4_int to get it working on my MBA running 10.9.5.

I haven't checked to make sure all the functionality is still there, but the prefs pane did open and I can use the stylus to draw. That's all i really needed it for.
