apple application support not found error 2

There are three versions of that update. Did you install the correct one for your processor architecture? Did you then attempt a clean install of iTunes? If you have a 64-bit system have you tried installing the "for older video cards" release? Did you make sure Windows was completely updated, disable any anti-virus software, and run the installer as the administrator?

I too have the same problem. I extract the setup and Run the AppleApplicationSupport.msi file.. while running it shows the following error.

@b noir, your solution worked for me. I opened the itunes package in using 7-zip and draged the AppleApplicationSupport.msi package to the desktop and installed it, Boom it worked thanks.

I followed your instructions for Error 2. But when I plug my iPhone in it does not go to iTunes. Instead it opens: This PC Apple iPhone Internal Storage.

I tried uninstalling and installing, got the same error, than I installed it as an administrator (right click) and it worked!

I used on my desktop" ITunes64.msi" ...windows installer and worked for me .It was the last win installer in the WinRAR extraction window.
