Apple TV - Radio Stations

Just tested and it is working fine on my system.

The only thing I can suggest, as mentioned earlier, would be a restore.

Having the exact thing happen to my First Gen Apple TV. Did the same steps to troubleshoot with no success.

What generation of Apple TV are you testing @vaamdrew? My 2nd and 3rd are fine. Only 1st Gen is down.

1st gen runs on a different OS and hasn't been supported in some time.

I have the same "Loading Internet Radio Stations"

I also have 2 1st Gen Apple TVs, both display the same message since 3/26/14.

I called Tech support to ask if they abandoned Internet Radio for the 1st Gens , they said they were unaware.

Everything else works fine.

Same problem here. I've been going crazy trying to fix. Keeps sticking on 'Loading Internet Radio Stations...' I've re-set about 10 times! All else works find here too - I have 1st Gen.

If the problem has persisted you will need to provide a report to Apple. Creating multiple threads only makes things harder for users and it will take longer to get proper assistance.

I, too, have a 1st generation AppleTV that I depend on daily for internet music.

I'm a 1995 retired Apple Developer, and had already tied EVERYTHING in this thread, so I contacted Apple Support... finally had to get to 3rd tier Support only to find out his 1st generation AppleTV was doing the same thing. He told me that because he could easily duplicate the issue, he's report it, but cautioned sometimes it takes weeks to get to the right person.

Someone obviously very recently monkeyed with the system, and I expect it to be fixed as this is 80% of what I still use this marvellous technology, and upgrading to the new one would not be a solution as it only has an HDMI output, and I have a system throughout the house that uses a 4x4 matrix mixer that it would not be compatable... unless I spent some $7500 to get a bigger matrix mixer.

This is because There is a code on HDMI called HDCP. Which is a security feature. When you get an HDMI to component converter the HDCP does not get transferred and the hdmi device thinks you are trying to copy a device.

I sure hope they get this fixed FAST!

t doesn't seem right if the plug was pulled on Internet Radio from us as we can not get the new Radio.

I have over 3000 songs in my itunes in lossless format, that I would lose by doing a restore and it appears that purchases or new rips will not transfer to these Gen 1 Apple TVs because version 11 won't see these Gen 1s

And would it be possible to go back to an earlier version of itunes?
