Since the latest update my Parallels and Windows 7 has disappeared. Is there a way to recover them? They were installed when I purchased the computer, upon my request, so I don't have the cd's.

Well I did the trial version after nothing else was working. I'm not sure how I did it just hope it works again, but I retried your suggestions and all of a sudden it all opened up! It is Parallels.
Maybe I need a vacation! Thank you for all your help! I actually understand this much better now!
