Safari 7.0.3 not working, Mavericks Latest Release

After upgrading Macbook Air to Mavericks, and after applying all updates, my Safari browser will not connect to anything. I simply get a White screen, with no sign of Safari trying to do anything. I disabled all plugins, extensions, and reset safari. I tried Private browsing. I tried it with 2 different users on the same laptop, but nothing.

I see in the log file:

Safari: BUG in libdispatch client: _dispatch_kevent_machport_enable: mach_port_move_member() failed (os/kern) invalid right - 0x11

every time I start Safari

Everything else is working and connecting to the internet. I've even removed all /Library/Internet-Plugins to /tmp just to make sure nothing is accidentally getting loaded.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't really want to reinstall the OS.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

This is a message for Linc Davis: I've seen you post this same advice on other threads about Safari being messed up with 7.0.3 and Mavericks. Please stop. I followed your advice and it did exactly nothing. Only reinstalling fixed it.

If you don't know how to fix something, please stop pretending you do. I know it's easy to cut and paste, but that just leads people down very wrong paths.

Thank you scott, seems like that did the trick. The first reinstall, I downloaded from the net somewehere, I can't recal where, and Safari kept acting up, however, when reinstalled from the provided link, it works great again. I know I installed a pop up blocker, it wasn't AB or AB pro, as they are currently working on the new install. So be aware, chances are it was an add on which stopped my Safari to stop working. I will try to duplicate the problem, if I can remember which pop blocker it was that I had installed. Will post my findins should I manage to retrace my step.

Thank you once again for the link, peace!

Try to open a Terminal (go to Spotlight, type Terminal) and cut/paste the following:

curl -o ~/Downloads/Safari7.0.3Mavericks.pkg http://swcdn.apple.com/content/downloads/15/41/031-3451/fovoxh8xl01wpditg1tngu3w sl6rdg1ypd/Safari7.0.3Mavericks.pkg

**The curl command should all be on one line. remove any spaces if they appear.

This will download the package to your Downloads folder.

Unfortunately I can't open the link. I have reinstalled the operating system and all my files. After 3.5 hours Safari still doesn't open. Safari opens when I restart holding the cmd + r button.

Apple told me to take my computer to an Apple store as they couldn't fix it online. The problem appears to be some software in my backup in Time Capsule which causes Safari not to function. Turned off extensions startups etc.

Anway finding the offending software?

Thanks
