My Macbook Pro is all of a sudden Slow. Why?

My Macbook pro is now slow. I just updated to Mavericks but it was slower before the update. It might be even slower now after the update, but not sure. Hope you can help.

Not really a killer found now, but

- You forgot to remove the the ...fusefs .... entry (entries), see one of my early posts.

- Q1 Can you give a list of all Google apps that you have installed? There is one giving potential issues.

- Remove Airserver from the SystemPreferences->Users&Groups->LoginItems (with the minus sign) it is compatible (they say), but basically it is PC software,

then restart and don't use it for a day or so, see if that makes a difference.

-Q2 is the hacked software still in use? If so also don't start it for a day or so, and see what happens.

- Don't use Chrome for a day, and see what happens, this really is a resource hug and not safe. If you do not want to use Safari, better use Firefox or Opera, both are fast and safe.

- Q3 What is MobileBrServ ?

Coconut battery is at v3.1.2 now. Download it from their site;

never download software from aggregate sites like Softonics, CNET Download.com, and so on, the installers are often infected.

You can update OS to 10.9.5, use the Combo Update for that:

Use the newer version of Etrecheck list.

Hello again Lex,

Im here again. Every time I ask you for help you help me and my problems gets solved, so I will ask you again If you have time to help me.

My computer works fine after restart but then all of a sudden it gets really slow, really really slow. It lagges for a while and almost to a point where it doesn't work. What can be the problem?

Thank you for the help, the past times and now.
