How do I remove the rvzr-a.akamaihd virus

Can anyone please advise how I reove this virus from a iMac Intel running 10.9.2

Thank you bud - I don't often use Google Chrome or Safari but GoPhoto was in both of them so got rid

I am using 10.8 and when I go into application support, there is no folder labeled as "Mozilla". I do use firefox as my primary browser though. Is there something different I should be looking for?

I just got off the phone with the Apple store and it is even easier than anything above. This virus appeared for me only on Firefox. To fix: Go to the 3 bar help menu in the upper right corner once in Firefox. Click on the ? at the bottom of the menu. Then select Troubleshooting Information and then click on Reset Firefox in the next window. Done. Problem gone.
