So what happened to iTunes Radio?

I'm using iTunes 10.3 and I keep getting the "error in contacting radio tuning service". Its been like this for almost two weeks now. It was working perfectly fine, and one day, poof, it wasnt.

Whats the official word from Apple?

I know its not the program since I've uninstalled it, deleted all the associated folders and files, and reinstalled it. I've gone as far as flusing the DNS and cache's, and its still the same thing.

So can someone from Apple actually come here and say what the problem is so people can know? Or is it time to look at other services.

So, how do I add the stations I want to a playlist. I have a playlist where I keep the stations I listen to, but now I can't figure out how to add more.

Copy & paste or drag & drop.

In iTunes 12 dragging to the left-hand side causes the list of playlists to pop out.

i'm running itunes 12.1.0.50 and when i click on Internet Radio and then click on a category and it says "Refreshing Category List" and then it says "An error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service. Check your Internet connection, or try again later."

i've restarted the computer and that did not help.

i DID just update some apple software per their alert immediately before this problem started.
