Safari Plug-In Failure after upgrading Flash Player

I've got OS X 10.9.2, Maverick, running on my iMac, and Safari 7.0.3.

Today I upgraded Flash Player to 13.0.0.182 version.

After upgrading I starting receiving the error message "Plug-in Failure" in every page I opened with video broadcasting, such as Youtube for instances, and no videos would be displayed anymore.

I already reinstalled Flash Player, rebooted my machine, have all plug-ins enabled in Safari Preferences, but no success whatsoever.

Think the solution could be downgrading to the early version of Flash Player, but have no idea how to do that now, since the Adobe site only allows me to UPgrade and not DOWNgrade.

Could anyone help me with this?

Many Thanks...

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

I reinstalled 12.0.0.77 and it "appeared" to fix my flash player issues. Most video plays normally, and "About Flash" correctly identifies at v. 12.0.0.77, but there an issue were "some" YouTube video refuses to play, giving the message in the video "An error occurred, please try again later." This error isn't for all YouTube video, only some. It doesn't appear to be the YouTube site, there's no reports of impaired status. When video's that give this error message in Safari or Firefox are played with Chrome they play fine, so Chrome works using its own "Pepper based" Flash Player plugin, but Safari & Firefox are impaired with the reinstalled 12.0.0.77.

My cynical mind wonders if this isn't some sort of ploy, the Adobe Flash Player installer once had a tie-in installation of Chrome, so Adobe & Google cooperate. If Flash Player were impaired in Safari & Firefox, many users might migrate to Chrome.

There are no messages in my Console logs. Here's a YouTube.com video that gives the error message in Safari & Firefox but not Chrome: /watch?v=vAcaeLmybCY

I have some additional info from a helpful Adobe peep:

1. Download and run our uninstaller:http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/uninstall_flash _player_osx.dmg

2. Download and run the version 12 installer from:http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/mac/install_f lash_player_12_osx.dmg

We hope to have this resolved soon and I'll tweet about it (@liquidate) and post on the adobe forums (http://forums.adobe.com/community/flashplayer) once a fix is available. Sorry for the hassle!
