Safari Plug-In Failure after upgrading Flash Player

I've got OS X 10.9.2, Maverick, running on my iMac, and Safari 7.0.3.

Today I upgraded Flash Player to 13.0.0.182 version.

After upgrading I starting receiving the error message "Plug-in Failure" in every page I opened with video broadcasting, such as Youtube for instances, and no videos would be displayed anymore.

I already reinstalled Flash Player, rebooted my machine, have all plug-ins enabled in Safari Preferences, but no success whatsoever.

Think the solution could be downgrading to the early version of Flash Player, but have no idea how to do that now, since the Adobe site only allows me to UPgrade and not DOWNgrade.

Could anyone help me with this?

Many Thanks...

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Also if they are having an issue getting this file, to get the crash report text I think one could also launch the Console app from the Utilities Folder in the Applications Folder, show the logs list using the icon toolbar, go to the Files category in the Log list and click the arrow to display the subcategories, go to the subcategory of CrashReporter, look for Plugin Process..., click on that report (check the time and date to make sure it's the correct one), and copy and paste this text into an e-mail. In written form it sounds convoluted and complicated, but it's really not too bad.

Just a thought for the crash file hunters if they are having issue finding what they were asked to provide.

The crash files are in Users/Library/Logs/CrashReporter. The file names look like this:

PluginProcess_2014-04-09-150433_maxHeadroom.crash

In that instance, "maxHeadroom" is the name of my hard drive.

This does not seem to be where they are using Mavericks. There is something similar under HD>Library>Logs>DiagnosticReports. Is this what they need ??

Adobe have now identified the issue is with older Macs and is working on a solution.

In the meantime they have posted information on uninstalling V13 and installing V12 at the following page:

http://forums.adobe.com/message/6292829

Download and run uninstaller:

http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/unins tall_flash_player_osx.dmg

Download and run the version 12 installer from:

http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/mac /install_flash_player_12_osx.dmg

After installing Flash Player, you might be presented again with our update dialog.

Hopefully the fix will be with us in a few days time.

This issue is definitely NOT just with older Macs, I just got a new iMac 14,1 a few weeks ago and I'm having major problems with Flash Player 13.

As it (version 13) came installed originally with the computer, it worked fine. When I did the update suggested for version 13, it would no longer let me view CNN video clips and caused similar problems on other sites.

Definitely NOT just a problem for older 2006 - 2007 computers !!!
