Anyone having trouble with FaceTime

FT seems to have stopped working on all our devices MacBook Pros Ipads and iPhones just show "connecting" and they don't. Curiouser and curiouser...

Judging by all the posts on the forum, there seems to be an issue at Apple's end, although they have made no announcement on their status page. Some users have reported that Apple is aware of the issue.

Absolutely unable to connect on FaceTime on IOS 7 , regardless of device. Nothing seems to help!

Amazed that the Apple server status reads normal for FaceTime!!

Are these problems persisting elsewhere ?

hi! since last evening, i have the same problem.
some weeks ago, FT did the same, but i was lucky and everything got well. this time, i suppose i should buy a new iphone, but it's not fair!

i really hope so. they have to fix it!

Till now FT problem not fix, and no any reply from apple, system status showing everything is ok. but actually facetime not worked yet.

there were quite a few people whose FT wasnt working all of a sudden. Appears to be a temporary issue. Apple should fix it soon if not already done

Problems for two days with Face Time! Tried everything possible.

For me, it still doesn't work at all !

I can also confirm out of the 3 iPads between me, my mom, and grandpa, only my grandpa's FaceTime is not working and his is on iOS 6 while my mom and i are on iOS7.

I have the same problem. Started on April 12 2014 for me. I live in Canada and can't face time my wife or daughter in Thailand on there iPod 4's from my iPhone 5. Same issue with my sister on her iPod 4 in USA.

I haven't been able to connect iOs 7 to iOs7 since the 16th. I've tried all my family and friends who have multiple devices updated to iOs7....so not a version problem.

6 devices including iPhones, iPads and MacBook Pros. All of which are on current IOS7.1 and FT fails with use of any one. Additionallly, The receipents of the FT video or audio calls report the same outage.

Bug??

Also iOS7 comes meanwhile with many versions. Do you and all your family and friends have the latest iOS 7.1 installed?

It seems Apple really pulled the plug on FT support for 'older' versions. The FR-support document was updated yesterday starting that both devices must be updated to the latest iOS version for FT to work.

Guess that's it for FT on iOS6 and other non-iOS 7.1 devices (including all jailbroken iOS7.0.x devices...)
