World of Warcraft running slow?

Hi, Ive just recently installed WoW on my new mac and for some reason, whenever i am outside in game or near packs of people it becomes very very jolty and erratic. i have the high end macbook, and i thought it could run WoW easily. Any suggestions to help fix this problem?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

You will be unable to apply that patch, all Warcraft clients are now up to Patch 1.12.

You can see below which, the low end model, macbook I have. I had the same problem. Delete the config.*** file in the *** directory and let the game rebuild it. Now I get between 15 - 20 fps most of the time and around 8 - 10 fps in a crowded PVP. And I have just 512mb ram, not 2GB.

alright i reinstalled and deleted the *** config and still its not better! is something wrong with my machine?

all i need is around 15 fps in groups and ill be fine, right now its around 8. any help?

I see you have the black one, but what about your memory, is it standard 512 or it already been upgraded. Might have better performance if you install more memory in matched pair.

Altough one of the post saying that he or she get 15 fps on the 512 mb, a lot of factor affect that like your macbook maybe runs several third party programs that use the memory also use the processor resources. Or your internet connection is also used some of its bandwidth portion on your PC without you knowing it, etc.

Try to consult the blizzard for this problem also, if none of this post is helpful for you, they might have better idea since they the one who compile this for intel mac.
