Mac software similar to Autosplitter for Windows?

Is there any Mac software or App that is similar to Autosplitter for Windows?

It can crop, straighten and individually file multiple photos from one scan, i.e. multiple photos on the scanner platen.

OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

My Samsung software allows you to crop individual photo's on the scanner platen and save it as an individual file.

What Autosplitter does is identify, crop and straighten any amount of photo's (say 4) on the scanner platen, scans and saves the individual photo's (4 off) as separate files (4 off).

Surely some Mac enthusiast can compile a program and produce an standalone app like that?

Maybe an add-on for Aperture?

Well everyone has to decide on their own workflow but for me I like to use the tool that is best suited for the task.

So in this case I'd let the scanner break the items into multiple files and then do the cropping and straightening in Aperture, it will do a better job and give you more options.

regards

Anf just to be clear Image Capture will allow you to crop the images before you scan them, but I'd still rather do that in Aperture.
