I have a disabled Iphone 5s, but I have successfully got it to connect to my Mac using bluetooth- I know down the line it'll need a reset but to save some photos how can share photos using the bluetooth connection onto my mac? Itunes isnt authorised on my phone.

Ahh no it seems like the phone itself is blocking all access religiously! Might consider methods to partly wipe the device to remove security and use a file recovery sotware to pick up the pieces!
There is no such thing as "partial wipe". It's all or nothing. And, as the phone has hardware encryption, wiping it resets the encryption key and thus destroys any data on the phone.
Nice so using an Itunes restore will initally remove the encrytion key leaving the data there but essentially gibberish! Amazing 😟
And very depressing, sometimes enough is just too much, this level of security could be optional you could brand it 'Dual Security'

I'm sorry, what did you think the purpos of encrypting the data on the phone was in the first place? If it were that easy to bypass it, then the security would serve no purpose at all.
