Hello All--Just thought I'd drop a line to give you a status report on the shipping of my Mac Pro with Blue Toot/Airport. It was supposed to arrive today (Friday, September 1) here on the east coast (US). It left California this past Monday (5 days ago). Mind you, in my situation, FedEx did a horrible job updating the tracking information. In fact, I just got off the phone with FedEx customer service and the guy told me that it's scheduled to be delivered Sept 1. It's now 7:30 at night--I'm not going to be seeing it. He then asked ME if the delay could have something to do with the weather. Finally, he told me that the only address they have listed is the city, zip code and NOTHING else. Now this comes as a surprise to me because the address when I ordered is exactly the same one I used when ordering my Apple Cinema Display (which arrived two weeks ago and is sitting here next to me in it's box). I haven't made any changes at all to my shipping address on Apple's site. Looks like the earliest I'll see it, if it hasn't been stolen, is this coming Tuesday (Monday is a holiday here in the States). Just thought I'd share that--I'm sure some of you can sense my anquish, especially after the wait many of us have already endured. Good luck to the rest of you. I sure hope you don't have to put up with the same thing.
