Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support and if that doesn't work, restore to Factory Settings - do not set up with a backup. See if the issue is resolved. If it is, then restore to Factory again and then set it up using a backup. If the problem comes back, your backup is corrupt and you will have to set up your device from scratch.

Cheers,

At home we have the same issue. On a iphone 5c we have problems with the clock, but the biggest problem is the wifitroubles. We have also an ipad mini 2 and a ipad air, the ipads dont have any problems.

i did a hard reset

factory reset from,the phone

factory reset from itunes

left it as new iphone without any apps

set the time auto and off

nothing helps

all idevices are up to date

problems begon sunday mai 17th

searched on internet, but no fix found

sometimes we have also freeze or delay on the screen.

can anyone help us?

Hi, I also have this problem. I tried everything - from factory settings to service. Even, if i set time to manually, it stops counting.

This is a problem I have for at least 5 month now, service said everythings fine (because clock is counting, stops at random time). I guess its an hardware-issue with the cpu, because my camera on the back also stopped working.

I have this issue with my iPod touch 5th generation. First this problem began when i updated to iOS 8.3, Wifi signal keeps dropping all the time, can not enable Bluetooth, GPS signal doesnt work well, sometimes my iPod freezes for a few second and suddenly reboot itself, after reboot clock sets back to the time when it first sets up, every time i lock my screen, the clock doesnt work, it freezes. I tried to update to iOS 9 beta 2 and this problem doesnt seem to be solved. Also tried restore with iTunes many times, reset all settings and contents many times, set up my iPod as new one without signing in iCloud or AppStore,... but this issue keeps happening... The most annoying things are the Wifi and Clock problems....... ANY FIX????? please 😕😢

Hello everyone,

I have the same problem as most people on this forum:

- iPhone 5C 16GB unlocked (GSM)

- Clock not working when asleep

- WiFi unstable or unusable

- Problems when downloading apps from the App store (I click install/buy and after trying to connect, it goes back to install/buy)

- Google maps inaccurate sometimes (but not severely so far)

- Problems are still there no matter how many times I reset the iPhone or which operator/SIM card I am using

- Problems are still there after updating to iOS 8.4

I went to Genius Bar and the tech confirmed that this was a known problem by Apple but unfortunately pretty much unfixable. She seemed to recognize the problem quickly upon me explaining it, so I am guessing she had seen it herself previously (this was in the Apple Store in Barcelona, Spain).

The problem is in the motherboard ("placa base" in Spanish) and the only way to fix it is replacing the faulty motherboard with a new one, which, if you don't have a warranty, is not an option. She told me that Apple would offer me 85€ towards a new iPhone if I wanted to dump this one.

If your iPhone is showing all of the problems I described above, chances are you have the same faulty/broken motherboard. If your iPhone works well, despite these problems, and you don't want to pay for a new phone (i.e. no warranty), I have discovered some work arounds that may be useful for you:

- For the clock, I use an app called Emeral Time, which was the only app I found that grabs the time from the internet and ignores the iPhone clock. (I have also gotten use to stop checking my iPhone for the time.)

- For the app store, I have found that in the instances where it doesn't let me download apps, if I log out of my App store account and then re-log in, I can download apps again.

- For Google maps and WiFi... well I just got used to them not working very well or being reliable

- When traveling or know that I will be taking many photos, I correct the time frequently so that they are more or less registered with the correct date and order in the Photos timeline.

Good luck!

Embarrassing the number of people who have the same problem and do not give a solution. It is not an isolated problem is quite common. I have tried everything , update , restore even change the part of BT / wifi and nothing , so I guess it will be a failure of hardware engineering . No hits it to Apple to do these things , I'm in warranty without mobile , since what date does not leave navigate.

Thank you apple for deleting my right to free speech against your company. you have created a faulty piece of equipment with a faulty motherboard and you should recall it. You should have at least left my post up that gave real info on the problem and not a bunch of your users guessing how they can fix an internal hardware problem. And pete who was my last comment , I'm pretty sure in the apple agreement it says nothing of signing petitions against companies that manufacture faulty products and then find a way to charge people for fixing them. And delete this too apple and while your at it ban from the forum bc it's not like youre truly interested in solving this persons problems. But don't worry i have plenty of other sites to post my complaints....yes Apple you have a COMPLAINT get used to it. nonreply needed.

Ok I took my

picture again of my soon to be deleted comment, so go ahead and delete away.

Try actually whinging to Apple, and not we other users. Some politeness may help your cause. 😉
