Hey, I'm as curious as You and All those you're referring to, 'Which App' I was using when I posted that question. If I'd had more than a Clue What I was even Doing, other than trying to put a humorous phrase on a Photo like I'd done some time ago at Wally World; ALL of us would have been enlightened.

And, I wouldn't have felt More ignorant Now, than when posting my question accidently in the 'iPhoto forum'. However, even after it being made more than quite Clear my post was made in the Wrong forum; I'm astonished since responses rather than Answers to my question were: "it Can't be Done", "None Believe it's Possible (or) All are Certain it Can't be ", and "there is No Way"; that NO One Knew(or wanted to give) the Answer anyway.

More astonishing is NO One, 'Level 1-Leval 10', KNEW(or wanted to Admit): How or Where my(admitted) illiterate self, Could or Would've been ABLE to have Already Gotten the Answer(and that Worked) to my question; Or, 'What App I would or Could have been in, or Which app, or the Only app(s) it IS Possible for Me to have Already Done it in.

After researching Briefly since my chastising here in the "iPhoto" forum; I at least Believe I Must have been using the 'Preview' app, and got the Answer from reading someone Else's 2007 'Preview' forum post. Again, I'm not positive, but if "it Can't be done in iPhoto", and CAN be done in Decade-Old 'Preview'; seems Any Old(or New) PRO in the 'Photo Editing' field and Advisor the 'iPhoto forum'; Would have Known enough about the 'Preview' app to Answer my simple question. And been courteous and helpful enough to have Shared it as I would have for any of You; rather than belittling me for mistakenly asking in the "iPhoto forum".

Should again, any of my rebuttals of frankness Sting with Truth; again please accept my apology. After all, it's after Midnight Again, and the fangs came out. :~) .

Again you're still not sure? Or if you are sure, why not just say it? All anyone has attempted to do here is tell you that

a: what you want to do cannot be done with iPhoto.

You seem to take that as a personal affront. Note that this is not saying that You can't do it. It's saying that the application isn't made for that job.

b: We all answered in an iPhoto context because you posted in an iPhoto forum.

This is not a problem, and each one of asked you to tell us what app you were using. Why? To help you. Believe it or not there are quite a few apps that you might have been using, so to best help you we just needed to know the name of the app you were actually using. I even told you how to find out that information. And for some inexplicable reason you still cannot or will not say with certainty what that app was or is.

The only thing we knew was that you did not do this work with iPhoto. Our starting point then was to simply ascertain what app you did use so that we might be able help you. ALl you had to do was tell us that. Then someone would have either given you the answer or pointed you to a place where you might find it. Believe it our not, we actually hang around here with the intention of helping people.

In response to this you managed to take offence at every step of the way. You found offence where none was intended with a skill that is surprising. You wandered into a maze and eveytime someone tried to help you out you took umbrage. You're not a minnow among sharks, you're a person who cannot recognise assistance when it is offered to you. Why you are like that is between you and your therapist, but recognising that it's your doing and no one elses is the start to getting better.

Now I just wonder about the people you fired because they tried to help you.

Assuming you are really using "Preview":

A. How to create/type Separate lines of type in the same Bubble?(or unattached/grouped lines)

B. How to make each Line a Different Pt. Size? (if desired)

C. How to control Leading and Tracking? (like 6.5 allows)

D. And at the moment Most of All: How to Delete or Remove the Bubble from the Pic??

Preview allows basic annotations.

A. Each bubble has only one text field with one font. You can enter line breaks by pressing "Returen/Enter", but all lines will have the same font size. As a work-around: Create several separate textfields with differnet fonts and drag them into your speech bubble.

B. Use the "Tools" menu - Show Fonts. I cannot tell you, how to change the leading etc. exactly, because I am using a different system.

C. As long as you are editing the image in Preview, you can remove the speech bubbles. After saving the images as a jpeg, the bubbles will be burned in and can no longer be removed. Only by retouching the image in iPhoto or any image editor.

A few years ago, I went to a gas station and asked for gas so I could go from Seattle to Portland. The morons kept telling me to swip my credit card at the pump, select the fuel type I wanted, and fill my tank. I kept telling them the fuel pump didn't have the gas type I needed. They kept insisting that they have disel and regular gas. I kept telling them that they didn't have what I needed, and they kept insisting they did. I finally proved them right when I took them out and showed them my F-16 Fighting Falcon. The fact that I needed jet fuel should have been obvious from the start. But NO! They just assumed I had a car. I'll never understand why people make these wild assumptions.

Oh, and enough with the self deprecation. It just obscures the path to the answers you're trying to find. We all knew you were a novice when you asked

How do I type words in the Thought Bubble after placing it on a pic?

As for being rude, go back and read Terence's first post again. He said there's no way to do what you want in iPhoto and asked what app you were using. He was 100% correct, but you launched into a personal attack at his failure to read your mind. There are dozens of apps that can edit images, but you just assumed we should all know that you were using Preview. You made an assumption. If anyone here had done that, they would have assumed you were using Photoshop, not Preview. And that would never have helped you answer your questions. When you're as big a novice as you claim to be, then you should leave your assumptions at the door.

Hi leonie!

YOU ARE SWEETER THAN PURE CANE SUGAR! THANK YOU SO MUCH for PROVIDING the ANSWERS I SOUGHT!!!!

I KNEW(or Believed), as I finally stated previously, by the time the feeding frenzy is Over; surely Someone here in the iPhoto forum, would be Able and Willing to provide the Answers to my Questions. :~) Even in the 'iPhoto' forum!

Additionally, You have been the MOST Courteous, Patient, Understanding, Caring, Polite and Definitely by Leaps and Bounds in summing you up, -The MOST PROESSIONAL 'Advisor' I've had the Blessing to chat with here in the iPhoto forum.

Without taking the time to try yet Again to figure out How to Print out in Chronological Order- Every Comment and Reply in this forum thread, since initially incorrectly posting my question; I believe You were the first to Reply as well. Every time I've Tried to print it ALL; it has printed out Only a fraction of the total stream and pages.

Thanks for thinking 'outside the iPhoto box'. And Who'd have thought my Answers would have come All the Way from Germany?!

Although I don't have time this morning to respond to each of today's(or Yesterday's) other greatly appreciated forum member's less informative comments(but Will); I couldn't have gotten a good night's sleep, even though resembling a bobble-head figurine at now 4:05 a.m., unless I had Thanked you from the bottom of my heart.

Sincerely,

Couponman
