Has anyone installed the new version of onone's Perfect photo suite 8.5 in Aperture. After instalation I get a 1002 (can't open) error when I try to edit anty photo even the samples that come with the program. I had a previous version 8.0. Any similar problems out there
I contacted OnOneSupport for the Aperture Plugin Fail in german version - all you have to do is the following:
First off, make sure that both Perfect Photo Suite 8 and Aperture are closed
Please go to the following location on your system:
Mac HD > Library > Application Support > Aperture > Plug-Ins > Perfect Photo Suite 8.ApertureEdit
Right/ctrl click on the "Perfect Photo Suite 8.ApertueEdit" file and select "Show Package Contents / Paketinhalt anzeigen"
Go to: Resources > en.lproj
Copy al of the contents indicated in the image below (but NOT the file Localized.strings), and copy it into the "de.lproj" folder.
When done, the "de.lproj" folder should contain 10 files.
Once you have done that, open Aperture, and you should be able to open the products again.

This worked fine for me, I am now able to open files directly from Aperture as before.

I just went to the OnOne Website and downloaded the trial again which seems to have been updated, downloaded and done a new install. Licence automatically recognised and up and running with no problems. Woohoo!!

Btw. redownloading/reinstalling the trial didn't work for me.
