Ciao.
I held down these keys but nothing appeared, the screen completely freezes. The only thing I can do is manually shut down the laptop, and then on start up a grey screen appears with a flashing file icon.
I have the same problem, trackpad works but won't click, mouse does not work and screen keeps blinking along with the spinning cursor. I tried the keyboard and it didn't work. I am running a Macbook (2008) the aluminum version with OSX 10.9 Any help would be greatly appreciated.
What EXACT model MBP do you have and what OSX is installed. Your MBP cannot locate the OSX.
Ciao.
