ISync with new Motorola RAZR V3m

I just purchased the Motorola RAZR V3m and am trying to Sync it with ISync. I previously had a motorola phone, and had no problem. i.e., I have an address book on my computer that I believe I should be able to put on the new phone. However, even after setting the phone for discover me, and asking ISync to find it, no luck. Has anyone tried this new one for compatibility with ISync, and if so, has it worked or is there a workaround that can make them talk. Thanks.

Sounds like a 10.4.9 problem, I have the same thing. Bluetooth works but iSync says it can't sync with my phone.

Thanks for your response. I am sure it is 10.4.9. Yesterday we wipped the hard disk clean installed the original OS software and it now works OK. I will have a good deal of work to get my other software back but at least I can keep my addressbook and calanders current. Thanks again.

i have a powerbook g4 and with this plugin that i downloaded from this site: http://www.faqintosh.com/risorse/en/othutil/isync/plugin/motorola/ (click on the v3xx on right side) and after pasting it into root>library>PhonePlugins it synced fine.

these are the steps that i took. 1) paste plugin in to root library 2) add new bluetooth device 3) it auto opens isync with the icon ready to activate after double-clicking 4) it adds to isync then i sync

now i try doing the same thing to my new macbook pro it does not work right. any ideas or can some try on their macbook pro? thanks. kyle k

I just purchased a RAZR V3m today, and have it hooked via USB to my non-Bluetooth enabled iBook G4. iSync doesn't even detect the device, although System Profiler does. What to do?
