No Equalizer icon

I completely agree, the icon-button should come back (at least as an option).

The designers seem to have forgotten, that it's not only a shortcut, but the button also gave an important feedback wether the equalizer was active.

iTunes 7 does not give this feedback any more, which is definitely a step back.

My version of iTunes is 7.0.2. This evening i discover that one can modify the columns wich appear in the iTunes window (Title, Artist, Album ...) by right clicking on the menubar. Then a list appear with the item "Equalizer". Then you can for each title choose the type of egalization you want. OK the manual choice does not exist there and fot his, we are obliged to go to the menu bar of the app... But this tip is interesting...

What you have discovered is the ability to preselect an equalizer setting for a particular track.

You can still set global equalizer settings with View>Show Equalizer.

Hey Terence, I just wanted to say "thanks" you to ya. I was going crazy not having the Equalizer Icon in the iTunes window and your solution helped out alot. Thanks for being nice enough to post a solution and quick fix to that problem. "You da Man!"

Do you also know that iTunes 7.0.2 has added option-command 2 as a short cut to the Equalizer window?
