I have various apple devices and my headphones fit them all except for my macbook air, do I need to purchase a different size?

The hole is so small that you can't plug the headphone jack into it, I tried various headphones and none worked. They all work fine on all my other apple products but not the macbook air. The headphone hole is much smaller than the other devices. Any suggestions?
Hey were you able to find out the problem? My iPhone earbuds also don't fit into my 13in MacBook air and I unfortunately learned this on a 6 hour flight!
I have the exact same problem.... Btw. the macbook is brand new! But it is not from my country.... Don't know what to do.... pushing doesn't work..... ugh😢😟😮😕
yeah the same thing with my macbook Air... regular headphone jack wont fit. but it fit with all of my other apple device...
