Can't Find My Stuff with New Discussion Activity Stream

I'm trying to follow a Discussion I commented on. This use to be done by clicking on MyStuff.

But MyStuff is gone. And it seems the user is suppose to click on 'Activity'

But, All I get when clicking 'Activity' is information about what Activity is suppose to do. I don't get a list of the Discussions I have commented on or started.

Am I missing something? (Besides MyStuff)?

II'm struggling also, but if you click on Content at the top and then click on Participated on the left side you can see the discussions you're participating in. It's different......we'll adjust, we always do!

I haven't looked at this train wreck on my iMac yet, I'm almost always reading on ipad, but I hear it's even worse on a real computer. A couple things driving me crazy are that it inserts double letters at the start of a post, like Tthis, and it no longer auto capitalizes the first letter of a new sentence. im trying to stay positive but the bugs and extra steps are getting on my nerves.

On real computer scrolling with the mouse is jumpy - using the arrow key works most of the time - but it makes it clumsy to use.

Think its apples version of microsoft wanting everyone on touch screens.

Although some folks like touch screens and tablets - I prefer to work on Photographs using a Wacom pen/pad while looking straight at the screen - and I like paper books.

Discovered that the mac mouse that came with my Mac pro - and has the little roller ball also scrolls better than the scroll bars and also works side to side along with up and down.

Havent had backspace problem but that does not mean it does not happen - Seems the programmers who made this did not have to test their work before putting it live.

Did you know the business programs used to scan inventory in stores and warehouses are set up to handle full screen, and two or more types of scan guns because of different dimensions. And when you are picking thousands of items a day - scrolling just does not cut it.

And, you not have to live with how Apple formats the ASC web pages. You can change what you see. Here is an example.

Adjust the format and layout of ASC Web Pages

For the Ipad, it isn't easy. The best you can do it write a bookmark that contains javascript that will in turn insert the css markup. Once created, you would have to run the bookmark on every page.

MY Stuff has gone but also i cannot locate my previous questions as many had great answers and now i have to ask again.

ANd it is an All or Nothing option! Email alerts me for all discussions in a thread (eg. macbook) and not just my single query. So i turn off email alerts and now have no idea if anyone has responded til i search for my question. Sort of backward pull technology as opposed to push notifications.

  1. My Stuff = Your Stuff = mere re-labelling
  2. I had the same issue on my first return visit after the BigSwitch. I don't what part or all of the following solved it, but here is what I did
    1. locate an 'Old Question' from your memory of where it was posted or by searching for all or part of the title
    2. at the top right, it will say "Following" as it should, but clearly it is not working as advertised
    3. click "Following" > "Follow" > "Following" > "Follow" = "Following"
    4. Go back to the YourStuff (MyStuff) page and click "Content" and see if the missing Questions / Participated / Following threads aren't magically there = worked for me, anyway - JiveWare just needed a kick in the ...
  3. Seems to me that all notices on a thread you create is a good thing. I prefer to see all from participated threads as well. I know that some threads are very active and may at some point become uninteresting to you, at which time go there and UN-follow the thread = what I do.

let us know if my worlkaround helps. Don't even ask me why the glitch happened or why it works though. If #2 is the only glitche du jour you experience, count yourself lucky

best regards

I have never used the mail option. Instead I use the authored and participated links. Bookmark these in your web browser. Bookmark all communities you wish to look at in your browser.

See turingtest2's

Site map of Communities and Categories

You may find these links to your own content useful, the first three will highlight threads with new activity:

Authored Discussions

Participated Discussions

See the doc for all four. I copied the first two.

It's to bad the authored and participated isn't combined.

Well, not surprising Jive is having some trouble today. Edit completes loading with a blank screen. The two links I posted complete with a blank screen.

These links are working for me right now.
