Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Very strange but starting today the Podcasts app will crash almost immediately upon launching on my iPad Air. The OS and the app are the latest versions and I have reinstalled the app several times. It works without issue on my iPhone 5s though. Is anyone else seeing similar behavior?
Same here on my 5s & iPad 2. I have a podcast episode launching tomorrow & it would be nice if my followers could listen to it.
I'm having same problem on iPhone 5s. Just started about an hour ago. I tried airplane mode but had to disable that because of other functions not working. Podcasts worked for a very short time after exiting airplane mode, but now non-functional again.
I also just noticed this. Podcast app worked fine this morning. It only works on airplane mode now.
Looks like it's back to normal minus my podcasts not showing their respective pictures. I can play podcasts again without crashing.
Yep, my Podcasts app is working fine now. No crashes, plays fine even on WiFi. Podcasts also show all album art, so it seems completely back to normal.
Bizarre!
Temporary fix until Apple gets its act together . . .
Unsubscribe from your podcast channels. The crashing stops and you've still got WiFi and cellular functionality.
