Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
An application unexpectedly quit, but when I try to relauch it, it gets stuck in a loop. If I chose RELAUNCH it just gets stuck in a loop and won't launch. I can send REPORT to Apple or IGNORE, but I can't get out of this loop.
I've contacted the software vendor, but thought someone on this thread might be able to help.

No, but I just found my original installation disks and will run it now!!
I ran the extended hardware test. It took a really long time because the machine has lots of RAM, but it found no problems.
Because I found the original system disks, I was able to downgrade the system to 10.5.4, but the cineSync application still crashed on launch. I downloaded a clean version of 10.5.8 combo and installed that, but cineSync still wouldn't run. I tried to upgrade to 10.6 (again) but it crashes. After about 10 minutes of installing, it says "installation will resume after restart" but when it tries to restart I get the dreaded GSOD "You have to hold down the power button and reboot" error.
Do you have any after market PCIe cards installed? Did you disconnect any external drives?
Yes, I have a CalDigit HDPro 8TB RAID, but I disconnected it during the hardware test (as they recommended). I did not remove the card, I only disconnected the cable to the RAID.
I'm not sure, but in the far distant past I had to remove 3rd party PCI cards for some OS Installs.
