Sucksssssss

I choose apple's products in the first place not to think like a Nasa rocket scientist, and so fare have been lucky, but since last night I lost all my hair. Phone is bricked and no way to reset it. plugged it to the computer and still have the 'USB CONNECT TO ITUNES' screen on phone. tried reboot phone by pressing home and On/Off buttons, nothing changes will keep irremediably bringing me back to 'USB CONNECT TO ITUNES'.

On Itunes the test of connectivity will gives me that no device is connected, changed cable with same result, but the phone will come on when plug after been battery drained. What did you do to my good functioning Iphone4 with this update? I am now on home arrest as can't contact nobody and to make matters worse lost my car key, please help me regain my sanity

I too was having major battery issues after one of the IOS 7 updates. Others have noted issues with OTA (over the air) updates causing battery issues. As suggested by others I did a full restore via iTunes on my Mac and then restored my backed up information afterwards. After this step be sure to let the battery drain to zero and have the iPhone shut down on its own. Then fully charge the iPhone overnight leaving for a few hours even after it shows 100%. This fixed the issue for me and made a significant difference with more than double the life. Note that the battery drain and recharge alone without the restore did not do it for me as I tried it many times prior to finally biting the bullet for the restore.

Cheers,

Scott
