And googling this context window with the first line being "get the video URL" I kept getting hits on issues with HTML and Java. So I went to Settings, Safari, Advance, Java on/off. No effect, the problem still persists. Can anyone else confirm that this problem only exists on videos played thru Facebook. I cannot get the problem to replicate on videos played directly through YouTube.
I see another iOS update in our future. Iol!
I could not get the problem to replicate on videos played through CNN and Fox news and of course YouTube.. For me at least, only Facebook is generating this issue.
Ahhh, the Javascript ,yes now I understand. That is totally different from Java.

Glad I could clarify. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Java, JavaScript, HTML. I'm only a part-time nerd who's usually only smart enough to get himself in trouble.
II'm having the same problem.... I think it started with the last system upgrade
I agree
I Have the same problem..... It started after the latest system upgrade 7.1.2 pretty sure it's related
I'm having this problem also but I think it is an issue that affects embedded YouTube videos in apps using WebKit (just a guess, since for me it is happening with both Safari and iCab, as well as Facebook). The problem did not -start with iOS 7.1.2 I don't think, so I wonder if Google has changed something.
"Glad I could clarify..." No offense meant. Since both exist and are completely different and from different worlds, it is good the be more precise. Again, no offense meant 👿

Looks like this is a bug that will likely be fixed soon: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24690760/embeded-youtube-video-on-touch-devic e-showing-right-click-context-menu-automatic
"There is nothing wrong with your code, it's a recent bug with the youtube api. Sit tight and I expect it will work as expected within the next 24 hours. Revert your URL changes because since you know it was working fine yesterday it will continue to work once youtube have fixed the problem."
Utube videos ok. Just in some apps that shoe video via the net.
Lol! No offense taken Lex. There I go again, spending a whole morning trying to fix a problem that wasn't even mine. I thought for sure I screwed up our iPad and the wife was going to kill me. Come on YouTube, get your act together! LOL!
Whew! I thought our iPads had gone strange on us and had been unable to find a setting to get that box out of the way. Once again, you folks have answered my concern and we'll just have to wait it out hoping it us fixed soon. Thanks for being here.
I have a white square box with text in covering part of a video playing on apps.
