Does someone know when the Sony Alpha ILCE-6000 raw compatibility will come ?
It's a few month now this camera is available and Aperture doesn't seem to be able to treat that RAW.

Could you tell us : Photoshop or Lightroom ? Which version and did you converted easily your Aperture's bank ?
Your pictures where in RAW or JPEG format ?
I was just wondering if I should wait till new Photos or switch to the "dark side" 😁 too.

I have no need to transfer files as I will keep the Library of past works in Aperture, moving forward I will just use Adobe, perhaps when Apple have caught up I can revert back to Aperture :/
The simple solution to this problem is to create a preset to reduce the over exposure to whatever level suits you. Then set the preset to run when importing a6000 images. Import Setting menu (in the Import dialogue box)>check Effect Presets>select your preset.
Camer Raw 5.06 is out. Looks like support for the camera is in it.

BUt it unfortunately, this is not the good choice. The misadjustment in Aperture importation doesn't allow to reduce correctly the over exposure.
I Mean, if you try to apply a correction in -, the picture seem to be totally lost, beyond repair.
FRank Caggiano juste wrote it was perhaps solved with the new camera raw 5.06.

I hope it it will be ok 'cause I tried Lightroom ... I would prefer going on with Aperture 😉 .
With the new update I finally can edit raw pictures in Aperture from my Sony a77 MKII. I have already switched to creative cloud and am happy to say that LR5 will be my go to software but nice to have Aperture as a familiar back up 🙂
