We Need to put this Apple Support Community Message Board back to the Classic way, this 1 is horrible 😟 i'm not being mean just stating my opinion thats all, it's up to you at Apple what to do though it's your choice it's only an opinion so i hope i did not say anything wrong???
ASC isn't quite free of costs to Apple. The mods & hosts have to get paid, Jive isn't free, & there are probably considerable costs associated with integrating the discussions.apple.com domain with Apple's other domains & services. But obviously, in the greater scheme of things that represents a tiny, tiny fraction of Apple's total operating costs, so you could say we furnish a very cheap service to Apple. 😁
Leaves all the more for the Execs to pay themselves. 😉
Jive could use Google as their search engine. I'd assume they are using some open source search engine.
I discussing cost, you have to come put with an estimate of how much value the forum community provides Apple. Before Microsoft started participating in theeir forums, I could not find a consistantly good forum for Windows questions. I found too much static in
