I have a bug walking in my screen!!!!!!

And if a bug happens to crawl into a monitor you have attached to a Windows box, or a Windows all-in-one computer such as Dell sells, will that somehow be their fault too? Neither Apple, Dell, you, I, or anyone else has much of any control over where some bug goes.

The iMac does have vents. The entire bottom has a series of small holes for intake. The heat vent is behind the stand, as seen here. Not big openings, but enough for a small bug to get in.

Oh, I'm not in any doubt that a bug could get inside the computer! In fact, there's apparently a recently-discovered species of ants that likes to live inside electronics, and can cause serious damage to the devices they decide to inhabit.

However, I would think that a modern screen itself is pretty well sealed, since you wouldn't want dust and other such detritus getting inside the screen and ruining the view.

Yup, the panel itself is sealed, so the bugs aren't walking directly on the pixel membrane, but they can walk on the back glass layer. That's what the bug that got inside my LaCie monitor was doing. It managed to get between the panel and the backlight.

Are the 27" screens like the 21's that are magnetic and so with a little force applied with a spudger type tool or something like a butter knife (albeit this could leave a mark) carefully it should come away from the Mac to clear the bug.

Then push it back into place.
